I get out of bed, unable to sleep.  My brothers, my brother's best friend, and my sister is up, playing Minecraft.  I, of course, am bored from playing on my laptop all day and in the mood for a bit of exercise, so I walk outside.  It's dark, and there's a man in the front yard across the street, looking at me.  Something isn't right.  I turn around, quickly going inside and closing the door, locking the bolt lock.  I slowly look up through the door window, a sound of thunder and a flash of lightning.  I ducked quickly out of fear, the window having a small hole in it.  My worst fears borught to life.
I slowly look up again, the sky is cloudy, and I had another close call with Zeus.  I duck, keeping my hand on the bolt lock to ensure he cannot pick it.  I shout at my siblings and the ripped teenage boy, Mark.  Between my four brothers and my sister, only one of them was thin.  I warned them silently of a man shooting at me.  I whisper as quietly as possible to "stay  low"  I tell Johnny, the 13 year old and the thinnest of my siblings, to call the police in my mom's room, the one I had emerged from slumber while she was out.  I kept the door locked with my own bare hands.  I had told my family, Shay Lynn (14), Ian (15), Sebastian (12), Logan (7), and the friend of the family Mark (15).  They were on the ground while the man kept banging on the door.  I screamed with fear in my lungs "What do you want?"  He said "Give me your Halloween costumes or I'll kill you!"  "Weren't you gonna kill us anyway?" I asked the criminal.  Somehow, I find two revolvers in the bottom cabinets as I'm trying to keep the door from breaking open.  I saw hope, had hoped on it.  I pull away from the door, getting to cover next to the door.  Hiding behind the corner of the cabinet.i had the door unlocked.  "Alright!  I'll let you in, but you have to promise me not to kill us!"  "Yeah, sure." He said, but I knew he was lying.  I waited for him to fall for my trap.  It was a year in a few seconds.  This must've been what it felt like to be a soldier waiting to ambush.  You wait and wait and wait for your enemy to get close enough, and while you're waiting, you think about what could happen if you make just one mistake.  If you screw it up, you're not just screwed, but the very thing you're fighting for is.  All your efforts for nothing.  It was a gamble.  In Vegas, in their casinos, the house ALWAYS wins.  But the question was, who's house was this?  Mine or his?
He opened the door, and I jumped out to shoot him twice with my two guns.  He layed against the opened door, as he watched my pull the trigger to his head.  I felt relieved.  Victory was mine.  I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I found myself in bed.  Almost 6:30.
Just a short story about one of my nightmares.

Hope you like it. :D
